Back when the 787 widebody aircraft was in development. An idea was pitched by one of Boeing’s launch customer in Japan. Yes to many airlines thought this was an amazing but it was “too heavy and too big” and was overshadowed by it bigger brother, the 787-8 and many forgot about this airplane became nothing more than a concept.
